This tank is a fab buy a brill home for a couple of fancy goldfish no more than two though , if you know how to maintain it you will not have any problems just make sure you do your research on how to keep your fish healthy and happy and don’t over stock this size tank is only suitable for 2 fish or 4 tiny fish my only criticism is , on the advert the picture shows this tank with a light it did not come with a light I felt this to be misleading the company not Amazon but the 3rd party seller said I could return at my own expense ! Not really customer friendly in today’s economic climate I was hoping they may have said due to the fact I was somewhat mislead they may have sent me a light unit at a discount price wishful thinking on my part , however the light unit itself varies from £14 onwards but at £14 the seller adds around £5.00 extra for postage overs are £18 with no postage so just shop around I looked on every site and there is not much of variation in price on the light once you add postage and packing so in a nutshell buy with a light and make sure you double check don’t rely on the picture I hope this is helpful peeps .

Some of the other reviews are obviously written by people with no clue how to care for an aquarium! I and my family have had bio orbs for years and have no trouble at all. My daughter has one and her tropical fish are breeding and very healthy. Fish keeping requires some knowledge regardless of what aquarium is used.
One review actually states the pump being switched off at night! It must not be switched off at all unless doing a water change.
These bio orbs are brilliant and low maintenance.

The instructions clearly state that you shouldn’t put anything over the filter. It also advises smaller fish such as minnows are more suited to this tank. I couldn’t understand why my fish were disappearing – and then I realised they were being sucked up the filter. Eugh.
