I am a novice miniature enthusiast and ‘Making Miniature Gardens’ is one of the first books I have bought on the subject. This book is well laid out, concise and extremely useful. The projects within it vary from easy to fairly difficult but not impossible. I would recommend this book to anyone starting out and it is certainly ‘value for money’. Suberb book.

A very good place to start!, 20 Mar 2003

This is a good read for those who need some inspiration to get their dolls house garden off to a great start. The projects are explained fully with excellent photographic illustrations. Excellent results are achievable with a little practice as the instructions were easy to follow. (I can almost make tiny flowers in my sleep!) There is no need to follow the projects through to their conclusion but borrow bits from each and you will soon have a miniature garden to be proud of.
