   I had one of theses solar fountains when they first came out and as the motor has
   finally given up on the old one i wanted to replace it and so far its as good as the old one -admittedly it only works when the sun is shinning but that is the whole point – it gives a “feel good” factor because you can hear the water splashing in the pond and you know the sun is shinning!!

   March 2014: Purchased this as a gift for a relative – they are very pleased with the fountain. It will only work if it is in sunlight (there is no rechargeable battery in this particular model) but this is perfectly ok as the small pond is purely decorative and does not contain fish etc. The fountain spray height is currently about 6 inches – expect this will be increased and it will run for longer periods when the sun is finally higher in summer and the solar cells have more overhead light.
