   Installed this heater into the pond water circuit in February 2018 to keep the water temperature comfortable for the fish who had struggled a bit through a cold winter. It seemed to work fine for a few months, but of course was not needed over the summer.
   As soon as it kicked into action this autumn all the electrics tripped off.
   Further investigation revealed water in the electrics compartment. No sign of failure of the waterproofing to the exterior of the unit, which was very good.
   However it seems that water has entered around the base of the heated element.
   Contacted Amazon who stated exchange not possible but arranged return for refund.
   Now not sure what heater to replace it with as most others are quite a bit more expensive.

   Has a “moulded” euro plug on it which isn’t mentioned and the cable is so ridiculously short I couldn’t plug it in anywhere! Can’t use an extension outside and an outdoor one won’t work as plug and UK adapter won’t fit watertight into outdoor socket! Have returned and waste of my time!!

   I got this about a year ago and only used it for one winter. I plugged it in this winter and it failed immediately. After short investigation I found out that water leaked in to electrical parts. Very disappointing.
