   This thermometer does what it says on the box. It could be a bit more sturdier as it cracked on the sink after about 2 months of use. Would still recommend as it is reasonable in cost and would buy another one.

   This item works – I needed to know the salinity of my quarentine tank with theraputic levels of salt and was easy to use and read but as another reviewer has stated it is fragile and lacks instructions. Fortunately, with the internet it’s not diffcult to fid out what the numbers mean. If (or more likely when) I replace this I would get the same style but one that comes supplied in a hard tube for storage.

   Simple floating hydrometer & thermometer, surprisingly robust. Calibration pretty good when checked against a borrowed meter (within +/-15%). Good value.
